Bigelow Chapel

Image from Yusheng’s flicker page

Bigelow Chapel at the United Theological Seminary in  New Brighton is the first religious work by architects Joan M. Soranno, AIA, and John Cook, AIA, with designer Steven Dwyer, all of Hammel, Green and Abrahamson, Inc.  The space’s light and unique cantilever translucent maple panels slope towards the outside gardens and add intimacy to the space.  The space was created in 2004 as a worship space for the Seminary’s diverse community of students, faculty, staff and visitors.  Check out the photo gallery for more shots of this stunning chapel.
