All of us Minnesotans cherish the short-lived summer, but this year, we have another short lived event to enjoy. In the heart of downtown Minneapolis at 88 S 10th St. resides pop-up art gallery, Ad Hoc Art. The gallery is in its space only until the end of August. While you may visit the gallery during its normal hours of Tu-Fri 11am-8pm, Sat 10am-8pm and Sun 10am-2pm, they are hosting a free event tonight, Friday, July 20th from 7 to 10pm with music and cold treats! Read on to learn more about Ad Hoc Art and view more photos from the gallery.
Ad Hoc Art’s mission is to be a dynamic community arts hub, celebrating amazing local art and sharing it with the people to create a positive impact on the Twin Cities and all people involved. It’s a fantastic spot easily accessible off the lightrail and bus line. Heck, it is even next to a parking lot if you want to drive down and see the space!
Ad Hoc Art wants to connect the local artists within the gallery with as many people as possible. Many of the art pieces are up for sale, so it is a great opportunity for those looking to add original artwork to their walls.
