I have driven by this house a million times over the past couple of years and always admired its unique look. With modest, clean lines, it is different, but not overstated. I was pleasantly surprised to open up the latest edition of Dwell Magazine and see the house featured in its pages. The interior matches its exterior, with muted simplicity, and subtle pops of color, such as the red carpet tiles in the living room. Owned by Andrew Blauvelt & Scott Winter of the Walker Art Center, it is no surprise that it is filled with Modern classics. Click through on this link and view the article and complete slide show.
Designed by Julie Snow Architects FYI
I live near by, watched it being built and it is absolutely Dwell worthy. Julie snow rocks. I was recently in a loft downtown at the 801 Washignton building that was designed by Rehkamp Larson Architects that you might also like. Also Dwell worthy and on the market. http://www.mikeseebinger.com/?p=2010 – Mike Seebinger
