Company Profile: Style Architects, LLC

Style comes in a lot of fashions. Luckily Style Architects LLC knows how to work with all types of style. The boutique lifestyle services company assists both businesses and individuals to create beautifully executed events, branding, styling, and PR.  I had the opportunity to talk with Style Architects’ President, Christina Holm-Sandok, about her business and how her team helps make good companies even better. Read on to see the full story!

Christina started the company in 2010 after gaining a myriad of experience in publishing, public relations, and branding for both the corporate and non-profit arenas. After working for businesses including Target, ShopNBC, Children’s Heartlink, and Twin Cities Statement Magazine (formerly Twin Cities Luxury and Fashion), Christina struck out on her own and created Style Architects. She explains, “What I really enjoyed was working with the small to medium sized companies in town as an editor and helping to get their products in a magazine and watch their business grow. I wanted to do it again on the active marketing and creative side. That’s how I started Style Architects. It was just me doing PR and branding work with lifestyle companies. It was an industry that I understood the customer really well. I was also passionate about the design industry.”

After she started the company offering PR and branding services, she began seeing a demand for other types of services including styling and wedding planning. As the company began to grow, Christina brought on a team of experts in their own arenas to help collaborate on projects. What makes Style Architects unique is that they offer services for both businesses and individuals. The company carries services for your life, including special occasion planning, wardrobe planning, and event planning as well as services for businesses, including PR, event planning, and branding.

With each project, the team works with the client to approach the brand holistically. Christina describes the process: “Most people think of their brand as their logo and website and it stops there. But if they step back and think, ‘What are the core values of my business and what do I want my customer to think of when they think of my company name? What imagery, what words, what emotion do they want to feel when they hear that name?’ Few companies think of their brand that way.” Style Architects believe that brands are multifaceted with a lot of psychology behind them and a company must always think about the customer’s experience throughout his or her entire interaction with the brand.

It was a pleasure getting to know Christina and learning about her company.
